Ghana’s Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Kofi Adams, has showered glowing praise on Belgian international and Manchester City winger, Jeremy Doku, stating that every appearance he makes on the pitch brings the name of Ghana into global conversations.
In a recent statement, the minister highlighted Doku’s meteoric rise in world football, his electrifying performances for club and country, and the pride Ghanaians feel watching one of their own shine on the biggest stages—even if he doesn’t wear the Black Stars jersey.
“Every time Jeremy Doku steps on the pitch, Ghana is mentioned,” Hon. Adams noted. “His roots, his talent, and his background always come up. It shows the kind of quality this country produces and how far our heritage can go.”
